Fulkers Bailey Russell appointed to CHIC's four-year consultancy framework
The multidisciplinary consultancy has secured a place on the housing consortium's new framework, which CHIC says brings together 147 supply chain partners across 13 specialist lots until September 2030.
Fulkers Bailey Russell has been appointed to the Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Consultancy Framework, a four-year arrangement through which social landlords and other public sector bodies can procure construction-related professional services.
CHIC's framework page gives a start date of 17 September 2026 and an end date of 16 September 2030, under the reference 2026/S 000-085144.
According to CHIC, the framework has 147 supply chain partners across 13 specialist lots.
Vasili Eleftheriou, managing director of Fulkers, said: "Being appointed to the CHIC Consultancy Framework gives Fulkers a valuable opportunity to bring our multidisciplinary expertise to the challenges facing housing providers today."
He said the firm's focus would be on helping CHIC members turn their investment priorities into well-planned and well-managed projects.
The framework
Fulkers said the framework covers disciplines including project and contract management, architecture, building surveying, quantity surveying, engineering, fire safety, stock condition, and housing and asset management.
CHIC said members can appoint a single consultant for a specific requirement or combine several disciplines for larger and more complex programmes.
Lot 1 is an integrated consultancy team lot, which CHIC describes as giving access to a coordinated team of consultants through a single lead consultant. The 13th lot covers housing and asset management, described by CHIC as strategic consultancy on the long-term sustainability and performance of members' homes and assets.
Luke Hurd, chief executive of CHIC, said: "We want to help members use their resources effectively and deliver better homes for residents."
The new framework succeeds CHIC's 2021-2026 Consultancy Framework, which the consortium describes as providing consultancy services for construction and related building safety and housing disciplines.
Who can use it
Fulkers described CHIC as a not-for-profit consortium that is owned and governed by its members and provides them with procurement solutions and commercial support.
CHIC said membership is free and open to any public sector organisation or charity. Its current members include housing associations, local authorities and bodies from the health and education sectors.
The firm
Fulkers Bailey Russell said it was established in 1998 and that its largest offices are in Brighton, Bristol, Manchester and London.
The firm said it had recently divided its business into three sectors: private, public, and residential and compliance. It became a Certified B Corporation in October 2023.
The framework runs until 16 September 2030.
